The formula is very simple: men love steak, we love men. We’ve started the Steakhouse Stakeout: a quest for the finest men in Manhattan paired with the finest cocktails and snacks. Here are our preliminary findings:

Ladies who desire the blue-shirted button down specimen that is the Midtown man should head to Del Frisco’s, where your surf and turf comes complete with a high ratio of this type of man who are more than willing to buy a lady a proper cocktail. When ordering your martini, we advise you to order the Juniper Blossom, a yummy mixture of Bombay Gin, Lillet, Cointreau and fresh lime.

Those divas who like their petit filet with a side of nightclub should head down to STK in the Meatpacking District. Executive Chef Todd Mark Miller’s amazing food (the parmesan truffle fries are a MUST try, diva!) paired with handsome nightlife impresarios and business travelers from the Gansevoort make this one a standout. A signature martini of this fab place is the Tea Time Fix-Up, a mixture of Earl Grey-infused RIGHT Gin, aperol and fresh sour mix.

If you have a thing for ad execs and public relations types, hit Primehouse in the Flatiron area. Enjoy an excellent petit filet and a great time with gorgeous men who we found are ready for some fresh conversation. Try a round of spicy peppercorn sauce on your steak to liven up your meat and kick up your cocktail choice with a Black Pepper Martini, a mixture of Absolut Peppar, Lillet and Black Pepper.

Craftsteak will always be a great haunt for investment bankers and foodies alike who adore its quality steaks. Perch at the 11-seat raw bar for some fresh oysters and just watch them roll through the door. If your newfound love interest wants to negotiate getting your number, we suggest you drive your own hard bargain with a New Deal, a delicious cocktail made with ginger-infused Stoli, crème de ginger, Grand Marnier and Champagne.
