The Not-Quite-Mile-High Club: Rooftop Bars NYC

Sometimes a Diva needs cocktails with a killer view so put on your sky-high heels: it’s time to head straight to the top with our picks for the hottest rooftop bars.

Hudson Terrace: Sleek and sexy without tons of attitude, this slightly off-the-grid hotspot has some of the coolest views and hottest parties in Manhattan. Looking for a place for post-work cocktails? This place has a killer happy hour (two-for-one drinks from 5 to 7 pm). It’s a don’t miss, Diva.

230 5th Avenue: Put on your vintage Halston and get your Studio 54 on at this retro, lavish cocktail space. Enjoy unobstructed views of the New York skyline amidst palm trees, old-fashioned cocktails and hot financiers.

Hotel Gansevoort: High above the Meatpacking District, this poolside space is useful for its manhunt-worthy view above the streets. It’s a fantastic pre-game location before a night out in lower Manhattan.

Empire Hotel Rooftop: This sexy sky-high space near Lincoln Center is still a fabulous location with some of the best views of the city. With potent beverages and gorgeous men, this is a stiletto-worthy destination for discerning Divas on a girls’ night out.

THOR Penthouse: This swank new lounge and event space in the converted penthouse atop the Hotel on Rivington is the newest addition to the scene. Complete with hot tub and hotter guys, expect some pretty fabulous things to go down at this hotspot this summer.

A60 and Soho House: If you’re not a member of either of these private patios above Manhattan, take action and find out who is so you can enjoy the views, cocktails and sexy vibe. Diva insider tip: rent a room to gain entry to these ultra swank, members-only hotels. Staycation or VIP room – either way you’ll gain access to all things fabulous.

Now that the weather is warm it’s time to get glam, go outside and play. Make a date with your fellow Divas to sip and be scene at one of our favorite rooftop bars. You never know – your Summer Fling could be there waiting. Ah, romance with a view. We love it.
